NOTICE TO GUESTS: We are located on Naval Air Station Pensacola. NAS Pensacola is currently open only to current DoD ID card holders and certain Veterans Health Identification Card holders. Unless sponsored through the Trusted Traveler program, no civilians will be granted access onto the base until further notice, and thus will not be able to access the Lighthouse.
PLEASE NOTE: For those who are granted access onto NAS, the gift shop and lighthouse tower are open. However, the Keeper's Quarters will remain closed until further notice. This means that there are no restrooms or water fountains available to guests. Please plan your visits accordingly. Guests will be required to bring their own masks and wear them at all times while on the premises. Please also supply your own hand sanitizer if desired. Read on-site signage for social distancing requirements.
Is the Pensacola Lighthouse haunted? The Travel Channel and SciFi's Ghost Hunters (TAPS) think so! We have been called one of the most haunted lighthouses in America. Join us for a ghost hunt in the historic 1869 Keeper's Quarters and see for yourself.
Follow in the footsteps of TAPS using real ghost hunting equipment. Bring your own equipment, or share ours. Tours are an hour and a half in duration.
The tour includes an optional climb up the lighthouse tower, weather permitting. For this climb, shoes must have a secure back (no flip-flops!), and may not have a spike heel. You may go up the tower barefoot if your shoes do not meet these requirements.
Guests must be at least 12 years old to attend this event.
We also offer Private or Overnight Ghost Hunts. For more information, call us at 850-393-1561, or check out our Paranormal Team's Facebook page!
