Public visitation to areas of public interest onboard Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola, including the National Naval Aviation Museum (NNAM) and the Pensacola Lighthouse and Maritime Museum, is available daily from 9 a.m. through 3 p.m. through the West Gate, at the south end of Blue Angel Parkway. Individuals accessing the installation must have a valid REAL ID or U.S. passport.

Field Trips

Take your students on an educational journey through history, science, and maritime heritage at the Pensacola Lighthouse & Maritime Museum. Our guided tours offer an engaging, curriculum-aligned experience in a unique historical setting. 

 


 

Scheduling a Group Visit 

Group visits to our site are available upon request. We will need to know your date and time of arrival, as well as the size of your group (including the number of bothchildren and adults).Please note that group tours may not coincide with other special events (other scheduled guided tours, Blue Angels Practice Viewings, etc.).

 

Group Pricing & Payment

  • Admission: $3.00 per person
  • The total must be paid in a single transaction
  • Payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash, or check

 

Hours & Group Requirements

  • Check our website or call (850) 393-1561 for current hours.
  • Large groups must arrive at least two hours before closing.
  • Groups with children must have one adult per 10 children.
  • No more than 15 guests may be on the tower catwalk at any time. Large groups must divide into smaller groups of 10 or so climbers.
  • Children must be at least 44” tall or 7 years old to climb.
  • Children 12 & under must climb with an adult.
  • Secure-backed shoes are required.
  • Backpacks and oversized bags are not allowed.
  • Groups will be intermingled with the general public.

 

Picnic Area

  • Outdoor picnic space available with seating for 50 guests.
  • No food is sold on-site.
  • Food and drinks (except bottled water) are not allowed in the museum, tower, or gift shop.

 

Accessibility

  • The first floor of the museum is wheelchair accessible.
  • The second floor, basement, and tower are only accessible by stairs.
  • Two accessible restrooms are located on the first floor.

 

Additional Guidelines

  • Running, jumping, and yelling are not allowed in the museum or tower.
  • Throwing objects from the catwalk is strictly prohibited.
  • Photography is allowed, but tripods and large equipment are not permitted.
  • Late arrivals should call (850) 393-1561 ext. 5 to adjust scheduling.
